1. Software Subscription Refunds
1.1 14-Day Satisfaction Guarantee
If you are a first-time subscriber to any paid plan (Proficient or Master), you may request a full refund within 14 days of your initial purchase. No questions asked.
1.2 Subscription Cancellation
You may cancel your subscription at any time from your account settings. Upon cancellation:
- Your subscription remains active until the end of the current billing period.
- No refund is provided for the remaining portion of the billing period after the 14-day guarantee window.
- Your account reverts to the Novice (free) tier at the end of the billing period.
- Your data (transcriptions, Aria conversations, memories) is preserved and accessible on the free tier, subject to free-tier storage limits.
1.3 Annual Subscription Early Cancellation
For annual subscriptions cancelled after the 14-day guarantee period, no pro-rata refund is provided. The subscription remains active through the end of the annual billing period. We recommend starting with a monthly plan if you are unsure about long-term commitment.
1.4 Plan Downgrades
If you downgrade from Master to Proficient or from any paid plan to Novice, the change takes effect at the beginning of your next billing cycle. No refund is provided for the current period.
2. Smart Glasses Hardware Returns
2.1 Return Window
You may return Voaise AI Smart Glasses within 7 days of delivery for a full refund, provided:
- The device is in its original condition with all accessories, packaging, and documentation.
- The device shows no signs of physical damage, water damage, or unauthorized modification.
- You contact support@voaise.com to initiate the return before shipping the device back.
2.2 Defective Hardware
If your smart glasses arrive defective or develop a manufacturing defect within the 1-year warranty period:
- Contact support@voaise.com with your order number and a description of the defect.
- We will arrange a replacement or repair at no cost to you.
- If a replacement is not available, we will issue a full refund.
- Shipping costs for defective returns are covered by Voaise.
2.3 Non-Returnable Conditions
Returns are not accepted if:
- The return window has expired (more than 7 days after delivery)
- The device has physical damage not caused by manufacturing defect
- The device has been disassembled or modified
- Original packaging and accessories are missing
3. Pre-Order Refunds
If you have placed a pre-order reservation for Voaise AI Smart Glasses:
- You may cancel your pre-order and receive a full refund of the reservation fee at any time before the device ships.
- If we are unable to fulfill your pre-order within the estimated timeline, you will be notified and given the option to continue waiting or receive a full refund.
- Once the device has shipped, the standard hardware return policy (Section 2) applies.
4. How to Request a Refund
To request a refund:
- Email support@voaise.com with the subject line "Refund Request"
- Include your account email address, transaction ID or order number, and reason for the refund
- For hardware returns, do not ship the device until you receive return instructions from our support team
5. Refund Processing
- Approved refunds are processed within 5-7 business days from the date of approval.
- Refunds are issued to the original payment method (UPI, card, net banking, or wallet).
- Bank processing times may add an additional 3-10 business days for the refund to appear in your account.
- All refunds are issued in Indian Rupees (INR). Currency conversion differences for international payments are not covered by Voaise.
6. Exceptions
- Refunds are not provided for accounts terminated due to violation of our Terms of Service.
- Promotional or discounted subscriptions may have different refund terms, which will be stated at the time of purchase.
- Free tier (Novice) usage does not involve any payment and therefore no refund applies.
7. Consumer Protection
This Refund Policy does not affect your statutory rights under the Consumer Protection Act, 2019 (India) or any other applicable consumer protection laws. If any provision of this policy conflicts with mandatory consumer protection laws, the consumer protection laws shall prevail.
